Requirements & Restrictions
1. Load Size: Typically our truck loads range from 25 to 30 cubic yards. To put this in perspective, a 12 yard load would be about the size of a VW bug, and a 30 yard load would be about the size of a GMC Suburban. You must take a full load. We do not deliver partial, 1/2 or 1/4 loads.
2. Material Consistency: The best efforts are used to ensure that the load(s) of Material will be free of debris. However please understand that this is not guaranteed. Standard loads are 70% wood chips and 25% green leafy material and pine needles. 5% is often un-chipped brush, small sticks, and maybe a few scoops of dirt or gravel.
3. Quality of Material: This is variable depending on the material chipped. All local trees and plants are a possibility for chip loads.
4. Accessibility: Our truck is 12′ feet high and must be able to access and or dump without trees, wires or blockages. When extended the dump bed reaches 20′
5. Dump location: We will not dump any loads on the road in front of your house.
6. Horses: Please let us know if you have horses. We have jobs were we chip Rhododendron and Black Walnuts which are poisonous to horses.
7. Time frame: We sometimes get loads that are not up to par for dumping at a house. That means that you may not get your chips right away.
8. Warning, Do not use Cedar chips for animal bedding. This wood is acetic and not good for your animals health.
